Pension fund members are customers, but what about the employers for whom they work?  We’ll answer that question on December 12 at 1p.m. (EST) for our year-end webinar entitled, “Employers Are Customers, Too!”

Ed Rezny, Deputy Director of Member Relations, NYSTRS, will moderate a thought-provoking discussion with three NCTR member systems that will examine how funds work with employers, and how secure employer portals and interfaces are helping to enhance communication and services provided.

Presenters include:

Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System
Shannon Murphy, Assistant Director of Employer Services
Will Culbert, Senior Communications Specialist

Focus:  Discussion of employer training initiatives, including the creation of six tutorial videos available online to help educate employers on how to report using their Internet portal and analytics on usage.

Maryland State Retirement and Pension System
Harris Kaplan, Deputy, Chief Business Operations Office

Focus:  Communication with employers as they work on implementation of a secure Internet portal for employers. The system will have payroll-reporting resources for participating employers and work together with employers in their Retirement Coordinator Outreach program to assist employees.

Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana
Presenter:  Ed Brannigan, Manager, Employer Services Department (ESS)

Focus: Why did their system set up the ESS, how did they do it, how is the unit structured, what are their biggest challenges, and how do they manage employer education.

Space is limited! Register today to join us December 12 at 1pm (EST) to learn about the innovative ways NCTR member systems communicate with employers!
